| While the Corndog Classic was not originally conceived as a charity event, the creation of the pay-for-mulligans rule in 2006 will generate some excess funds that I have decided to give to charity rather than distributing as prize money. In 2006, proceeds from the Corndog Classic will be donated to the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. I will match all mulligan related donations to the foundation.
We do expect the classic to grow in attendance, so the event does have potential to raise a reasonable amount of money for charity. Any charity affiliation will, of course, be the choice of that year's host. I have been informed that the 2007 Corndog Classic will benefit Breast Cancer research in memory of Ann Simmons, Jeff's mother.
